Star Wars enthusiasts eager to dive into the opening episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld will need to venture into Fortnite to catch the premiere before its Disney+ release. Today, Epic Games unveiled an exciting expansion of its Star Wars content, announcing that the first two episodes of the animated spinoff will debut exclusively within Fortnite. This move is part of Epic's strategy to enhance its Star Wars offerings during the upcoming Galactic Battle season, which promises a plethora of Star Wars-themed delights.

Starting at 10 a.m. ET on May 2, fans can witness the launch of Tales of the Underworld with two episodes featuring Asajj Ventress, available on the Star Wars Watch Party island. This is two days ahead of the series' availability to Disney+ subscribers. Epic encourages players to link their Epic Games and MyDisney accounts, offering a First Order Stormtrooper outfit as a reward. While the full scope of account linkage benefits remains undisclosed, Epic hints at additional perks on the horizon.

You have until May 11 to enjoy these episodes on the Star Wars Watch Party island, after which the island will cease to be available. Additionally, the island will host a Battle Arena where players can engage in combat using lightsabers to fend off waves of enemies. Viewers who watch both episodes will be rewarded with an Asajj Ventress loading screen.

Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld is a six-episode series animated in the style of The Clone Wars, focusing on the adventures of Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane. The official description hints at Ventress confronting new life opportunities and alliances, while Bane grapples with his past.

Disney's relationship with Fortnite stretches beyond the Galactic Battle season.
