We described it as "an amazing follow-up to Mario Party Superstars and easily one of the best games in the series." The game successfully revives the classic formula with unique and memorable mechanics across its boards, offers flexibility through customizable gameplay options, and introduces strategic elements with its Pro Rules, which minimize luck and enhance strategy. The new and returning minigames, along with character-specific challenges, are highlights, although we wished for a few more minigames. While the side offerings might not have lasting appeal, the main game shines brightly during local and online multiplayer sessions, completing the series' redemption arc with flair.
