Farewell, SwitchArcade Readers! This is the final regular SwitchArcade Round-Up from me. After several years, circumstances necessitate a change of course. But let's go out with a bang!
Reviews & Mini-Views
Fitness Boxing feat. HATSUNE MIKU ($49.99)
Following the success of Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star, Imagineer’s collaboration with Hatsune Miku is a surprisingly effective fitness title. This Joy-Con-only game (no Pro Controller support) blends boxing and rhythm game mechanics for engaging workouts, mini-games, and customizable routines. It includes a dedicated mode featuring Miku's songs, alongside the standard tracklist. Features include difficulty settings, free training, warm-ups, progress tracking, and unlockable cosmetics. While the music is excellent, the main instructor's voice is somewhat jarring and could be improved. Best used as a supplement to other fitness routines rather than a standalone program.
SwitchArcade Score: 4/5 -Mikhail Madnani
Magical Delicacy ($24.99)
Magical Delicacy expertly blends Metroidvania exploration with cooking and crafting elements. As witch Flora, you cook and craft for various characters in a charming, mystical world. The exploration is well-executed, though some backtracking can be frustrating. Inventory management and UI could benefit from refinement. The game boasts beautiful pixel art, delightful music, and customizable UI settings. While the Switch version runs smoothly with minor frame pacing issues, it feels like it could use further polishing and potential updates. Plays best in handheld mode.

Aero The Acro-Bat 2 ($5.99)
A polished sequel to the original, Aero The Acro-Bat 2 delivers a solid 16-bit platforming experience. Ratalaika Games has significantly improved the presentation with a tailored emulator wrapper, including extras like box and manual scans, achievements, a gallery, jukebox, and cheats. While the Super NES version is enjoyable, the omission of the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive version is a minor drawback. A recommended title for fans of the series and retro platformers.
SwitchArcade Score: 3.5/5
Metro Quester | Osaka ($19.99)
More of an expansion than a sequel, Metro Quester | Osaka provides a substantial addition to the original Metro Quester. Set in Osaka, this prequel introduces a new dungeon, character types, and challenges. The turn-based combat, top-down exploration, and strategic gameplay remain core elements. The new setting and mechanics offer a fresh experience for veterans and a great entry point for newcomers. Requires patience and strategic planning.
SwitchArcade Score: 4/5
