Following months of speculation and anticipation, Activision has officially released the eagerly awaited debut trailer for the highly anticipated remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. Taking charge of its development is Iron Galaxy Studios, stepping in after Vicarious Visions, the team responsible for THPS 1+2. This enhanced version promises to captivate players with upgraded visuals, integrated online multiplayer capabilities, and the introduction of new playable characters such as Rayssa Leal, Nyjah Huston, and Yuto Horigome.
The trailer provides a nostalgic look at classic levels like Airport, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all meticulously reimagined using cutting-edge technology. A side-by-side comparison highlights the remarkable graphical improvements achieved in the new iteration.
Iconic skaters featured in the game include legends Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, and Rodney Mullen. Unfortunately, Bam Margera will not be making an appearance. Digital Deluxe edition owners will enjoy exclusive characters Doom Slayer and Revenant. The developers have also committed to reviving parts of the original soundtrack, featuring tracks from Motorhead, Gang Starr, and CKY, ensuring a touch of nostalgia for fans.
These remastered classics will launch on July 11 across platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series, and PC. Pre-orders grant access to a demo version in June, along with early access to the full game starting three days prior to the official release date.
