Netmarble's Tower of God: New World, inspired by the popular webtoon, is preparing to welcome two significant new characters in its latest update. This release also introduces the Pioneer's Remnant System, an ideal feature for dedicated players who have already mastered every challenge within the towering climb.
The first new character is Xia Xia, an SSR+ Elite Spy with a Red Element, and the Support and Light Bearer classifications. She possesses a versatile kit combining potent area-of-effect support abilities and health recovery skills. Meanwhile, Zahard, an Adventurer with a Green Element and the Warrior and Fisherman tags, makes his debut as the game's very first XSR+ grade character.
The new XSR+ grade is designed to represent allies who are either an alternative "IF" (Imaginary) version of an SSR+ character or feature a distinctly different appearance from their original form. While they may share certain animations and skills with their SSR+ counterparts, their unique new Revolution skills fundamentally set them apart.
Climb the TowerThe arrival of these two new characters is complemented by the Pioneer's Remnant System. Completing Hard Mode will reward you with the system's namesake resource, which can be exchanged for various growth materials and other valuable items. This is a perfect endgame pursuit for players who have already triumphed over the most difficult content.
You'll want to log in soon, as both Zahard and Xia Xia are receiving dedicated release events: the "[Elite Spy] Xia Xia Release Celebration" and the "[Adventurer] Zahard Release Celebration." These events will offer opportunities to obtain the new characters or other exciting rewards.
