Unlocking Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Infinite
Jujutsu Infinite features two Domain types: Incomplete and Full Domain Expansion. Incomplete Domains unlock upon completing the final story segment (Level 420). While functionally similar to Full Domains, Incomplete Domains have reduced Area of Effect (AoE) for innate abilities.
Full Domain Expansion is the culmination of the Mastery path for specific Legendary and Special Grade Cursed Techniques. Locate the Domain Expansion option on the far right of the Mastery path within the Innate Skills menu. Unlocking requires a Domain Shard and Mastery Level 250 in the relevant Innate Technique.
Acquiring Domain Shards
Domain Shards are rare and valuable. Acquisition methods include:
- Curse Market NPC: This vendor periodically offers Domain Shards in exchange for Demon Fingers and Jade Lotuses.
- Chests: While a possibility, the drop rate is low; consider using luck-enhancing consumables.
- Trading: Exchange Domain Shards with other players.
- World Loot: Shards may appear on the map; the Item Notifier (2,699 Robux gamepass) aids in locating these.
Utilizing Domain Expansion
Domain Expansion serves as your ultimate ability. Equip it via the Skills menu. The Domain Meter fills as you damage enemies; upon completion, activate Domain Expansion using your assigned hotkey.
Within your Domain, innate skills gain full AoE, becoming undodgeable. Offensive and defensive stats receive a 50% boost. Incomplete Domains only provide the stat increase.
Domain Clashing
Simultaneous Domain Expansions trigger a minigame: a Domain Clash. Time your LMB (M1) presses to align the red line within the blue sections of the meter. Victory extends your Domain and depletes your opponent's Domain Meter.
Defending Against Domain Expansion
Several defensive options exist:
- Simple Domain (Technique Tree, 20 SP): Creates a small area negating enemy Domain effects.
- Hollow Wicker Basket (Unlockable Technique): Nullifies enemy Domain effects but prevents innate technique use.
- Heavenly Restriction (1699 Robux Gamepass): Negates most sure-hit effects within Domains.
