*Fortnite*'s newest season, dubbed Lawless, is embracing its theme of heists and thievery with full force. Vaults are making a grand return in *Fortnite* Chapter 6, Season 2, and here's everything we know so far about cracking them open.
How to Open the Vault in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2
- Utilize the brand-new Rocket Drill to bore your way into a Vault.
- Grab the Plasma Burst Rifle and use its laser to cut through the entrance.
- Deploy the new Meltanite TNT explosive on the door to blow it open.
While these are the currently known methods, past seasons have suggested that other approaches, such as using keycards or completing specific tasks, might also be viable. For now, it looks like brute force and patience will be your best bet. We'll keep you posted on additional methods as they become available when the season kicks off on February 21.
Just like in previous seasons, expect to encounter heavy resistance, whether it's from enemy AI guarding the Vaults or other players gunning for the same high-tier loot.
