World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Turbulent Timeways Returns!

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns, running until February 24th. Get ready for a nostalgic journey through WoW's history, with opportunities to earn fantastic rewards.

This extended event builds upon the popular five-week run from September 2023. Players can once again earn Timewarped Badges, a significant experience buff, and complete quests and activities within each Timewalking expansion. The key is achieving "Mastery of Timeways" – a 20% experience boost earned after completing four Timewalking dungeons within a week.

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic

• February 18-24: Cataclysm

Rewards Galore!

Securing Mastery of Timeways for at least five of these weeks unlocks the "Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2" achievement, granting the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount. Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs (at the Classic vendor). Additionally, the Sandy Shalewing pet, previously unavailable, makes a comeback. Completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest rewards Heroic gear during the event's duration.

A Busy Start to 2025 for WoW:

The Turbulent Timeways event's conclusion on February 24th hints at future WoW plans. Considering the typical eight-week release cycle and the holiday season, this strongly suggests that Patch 11.1, "Undermined," will likely launch on February 25th, ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. With the Turbulent Timeways, Plunderstorm's second run (January 14th - February 17th), and The War Within's upcoming major content update, World of Warcraft is setting the stage for an action-packed start to 2025.
