As one of the longest-running movie franchises, The Fast and Furious series has transformed from its humble beginnings as street racing films into a hallmark of blockbuster action cinema, amassing nearly $2 billion at the global box office. Over the years, the twelve films (nine mainline entries, one spinoff, and two shorts) have crafted a complex narrative that can be challenging to follow. With the latest installment, Fast X, now streaming on Amazon, we've created this comprehensive guide to help you watch the Fast and Furious movies in chronological order.
For those who prefer to view the films by their release dates, you'll find a separate list at the end of this article. Note that we are not including the animated series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers in this guide, as it is not essential to the main storyline.
