Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells
Forget the Arsenal Machine; Aether Tools are your key to weapon upgrades. These consumable items, found with varying rarity (color-coded), upgrade your weapon to their respective tier (e.g., a purple Aether Tool grants Legendary rarity). Here's how to obtain them:
- Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The resulting zombie drop contains loot, potentially including an Aether Tool. Higher rounds yield higher-rarity tools.
- Bank Vault: Loot Keys unlock safety deposit boxes within the Bank Vault, offering a chance at Aether Tools.
- S.A.M. Trials: Completing these trials, especially at higher reward tiers, can drop Aether Tools.
- Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrades your weapon to Legendary rarity.
- Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as rounds progress.
Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells
Currently, Cryo Freeze is the only available ammo mod in Jingle Hells. It drops as a consumable item and is primarily found within Holiday Presents. These presents, containing random loot with increasing rarity based on round progression, can be obtained in several ways:
- Enemy Kills: Sometimes drop directly from slain enemies.
- Naughty or Nice Power-up: This power-up yields either multiple Holiday Presents ("Nice") or a horde of vermin ("Naughty").
- S.A.M. Machine: Spawns several Holiday Presents upon appearance.
Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells
The Workbench's absence eliminates Salvage-based equipment crafting and support item creation (Chopper Gunners, Mutant Injections, Self Revives). However, these items can still be acquired:
