The Witcher 3 adaptation in the vein of fantasy movies from the 1980s

Tech enthusiasts continue to explore the potential of screen adaptations using modern technology, turning their attention to the Witcher series. A concept trailer for a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adaptation, crafted by the Sora AI YouTube channel, has emerged.

The trailer emulates the aesthetic of 1980s films, leveraging neural network technology. Many recognizable characters from the Witcher universe are featured, including Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss Merigold, Regis, Dijkstra, Priscilla, and others. While some minor visual alterations are present, the characters remain easily identifiable.

Recently, The Witcher 3 developers hinted at plans to incorporate Triss's wedding into the game. The "Ashen Marriage" quest was originally intended for Novigrad. The storyline depicts Triss's burgeoning feelings for Castello and her desire for a swift wedding. Geralt assists with wedding preparations, tasks including ridding the canals of monsters, procuring alcohol, and selecting a wedding gift.

Interestingly, Triss's reaction is directly influenced by the chosen gift. Less elaborate presents are less well-received, while a memory rose—a familiar item from The Witcher 2—elicits a strong emotional response.
