This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the ruined base south of Shores of Last Breath, activating the broken Lumiscale Construct. The quest objectives are:
- Activate three steles at designated locations.
- Return and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Pursue the Lumiscale Construct.
- Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (again).
- Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.
Activating the Steles
Stand on the glowing circle at each altar to charge the Discipline Steles. Enemies interrupt charging; eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar drains its energy. Utilize the 2.0 update's enhanced elemental damage and status effects to your advantage. For the third stele set, position yourself correctly to activate the prompt and place the broken steles before enemies spawn.
Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct
Use your strongest Resonators to defeat the Lumiscale Construct at the starting point. A cutscene triggers when its health is low, initiating the chase deeper into the ruins. Navigate hazards like falling debris and lightning, eliminating enemies along the way. A final confrontation with the Construct awaits.
Confronting the Dragon of Dirge
The Dragon of Dirge is a formidable foe capable of one-shotting characters. Evade its breath attacks and falling stars, aiming for stuns. Prioritize stunning it after its major attacks. Victory unlocks access to Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
