Xbox Game Pass January 2025: New Games and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for 2025, confirming several anticipated additions and departures. The lineup includes a mix of new releases and returning favorites, catering to various tastes.

Key highlights include the arrival of Road 96, My Time at Sandrock, and the highly anticipated Diablo (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass only). Several other titles, including Lightyear Frontier (Preview), Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, Rolling Hills, and UFC 5 (Game Pass Ultimate only), round out the January additions. These games will become available throughout the month, starting January 7th and continuing through January 14th.

This announcement follows recent changes to the Xbox Game Pass service, including updated age restrictions and a revised rewards system. These alterations are now live, coinciding with the fresh game lineup.

However, the arrival of new games also means some are leaving. Six titles will depart the service on January 15th: Common'hood, Escape Academy, Exoprimal, Figment, Insurgency Sandstorm, and Those Who Remain.

This is just the first half of January's updates. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can anticipate further announcements for the latter half of the month and beyond. Stay tuned for more exciting additions to the service!
