Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears with the Past' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has exciting news for fans of Zenless Zone Zero with the announcement of Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past.' This eagerly awaited update is scheduled to launch on April 23rd, marking the culmination of Season 1's storyline.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update promises to unravel the long-standing mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players will delve deeper into Vivian's intricate backstory and finally get clarity on Hugo's fate, which has been a subject of much speculation since his dramatic fall into the Hollow. The escalating tension between Mockingbird and TOPS following Hugo's incident has led to the Mayor dispatching a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to address the situation.

Vivian, alongside the Proxies, will venture into enemy territory in pursuit of the Sacrifice Core. This journey will not only confront Vivian with figures from her past but also expose the unraveling conspiracy of the Exaltists.

Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, excelling in inflicting Corruption damage, especially when synergized with other characters' EX Special Attacks. The second new character is Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent who uses a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His attacks on stunned enemies trigger a Totalize effect, boosting damage based on the remaining stun duration.

Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird's agile Bangboo partner, will join the fray, utilizing cards with random effects. Returning characters include Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, who will feature in the banners of Version 1.7.

To enrich the gameplay experience, Version 1.7 introduces new events. One highlight is 'Say It With Flowers,' where players can manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and create floral arrangements. Completing commissions in this event unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode and exclusive rewards.
