The wait is finally over! You can now download AVLView's highly anticipated School Bus module – an app designed specifically for parents. Available at app.avlview.com, this innovative tool allows schools to efficiently manage bus schedules, assign pickup and drop-off points, and keep parents informed about the real-time location of their children's school bus as it approaches designated stops.
The School module in AVLView comes packed with a range of features to streamline school bus operations:
- Pre-Scheduled Trips: Schools can easily create pre-scheduled trips for their buses.
- Route Assignment: Assign specific routes (route fences) that buses must follow.
- Waypoints for Students: Include student pick-up and drop-off points as waypoints along the route.
- Notification Alerts: School management receives instant alerts via SMS or email for any schedule violations, including mismatches in times, route deviations, and missed stops.
- Student Details: Add students to the school bus module with detailed grade information (e.g., VII C).
- Trip Assignments: Assign students to scheduled trips and designate their stops.
- Multiple Trips: Students can be assigned multiple trips, ensuring at least two trips for pickup and drop-off.
- Map-Based Trip View: Provides a clear view of the route and stoppage points for student pick-up and drop-off on an interactive map.
- Parent Sub-User Accounts: Parents can access live tracking of the school bus, monitoring their child's journey and receiving estimated times of arrival at their designated stops.
Parents will receive timely alerts for various scenarios, including:
- When a student fails to board or get off the bus.
- When a student boards the wrong bus or at the wrong stop.
- When a student disembarks at an incorrect stop.
- When the bus is on its way for pick-up or drop-off.
- When the bus is approaching pick-up or drop-off points.
- When a student has been successfully picked up or dropped off.
