Epic Cards Battle 3: A Deep Dive into a Strategic Card Battler

Epic Cards Battle 3, the latest installment from momoStorm Entertainment, plunges players into a strategic fantasy card game brimming with tactical combat and collectible card action. This third entry in the series significantly expands upon its predecessors, offering a diverse range of gameplay options.

The game boasts a rich tapestry of features, including PVP and PVE modes, RPG elements, and even an Auto Chess-style battle system. Players explore a vibrant fantasy world populated by heroes, mystical creatures, and powerful magic.

A key differentiator in ECB3 is its innovative card design, heavily inspired by the Genshin Impact battle framework. Eight distinct factions – Shrine, Dragonborn, Elves, Nature, Demons, Darkrealm, Dynasty, and Segiku – vie for dominance, each featuring creatures and minions belonging to one of six professions: warriors, tanks, assassins, warlocks, and more. Rare cards can be unearthed by opening packs or upgrading existing cards, with a planned card exchange system adding further depth.

The elemental system adds another layer of strategic complexity. Eight elements – Ice, Fire, Earth, Storm, Light, Shadow, Lightning, and Toxic – infuse spells with unique powers, impacting the battlefield's 4x7 mini-chessboard layout where players strategically position their cards. A Speed Run mode challenges players to optimize their strategies for faster completion times.

Is it worth your time?

While Epic Cards Battle 3 offers a wealth of content and strategic depth, it's not necessarily a beginner-friendly title. Its complexity and apparent inspiration from games like Storm Wars might present a steeper learning curve. Ultimately, the smoothness of gameplay and overall enjoyment are subjective and require personal experience.

If you're seeking a new collectible card game (CCG), Epic Cards Battle 3 is available for free on the Google Play Store. However, if card games aren't your cup of tea, consider checking out our review of Narqubis, a new space survival third-person shooter on Android.
