Honkai: Nexus Anima to Bridge Two Honkai Worlds

HoYoverse has stirred excitement within the Honkai community by unveiling a teaser for their latest addition to the series: Honkai: Nexus Anima. This sneak peek, shown during the Honkai: Star Rail second anniversary concert, has fans buzzing with anticipation about what gameplay elements this new installment might introduce.

What Do We Know?

The teaser was showcased at the end of the concert, with Kiana from Honkai Impact 3rd making an appearance. She was seen standing at a doorway with her adorable pet, hinting at the role companions might play in the game. The excitement escalated when Blade from Honkai: Star Rail appeared, suggesting a potential crossover between the two worlds within Nexus Anima. While the trailer kept its cards close to the chest, you can view it yourself for a closer look.

Interestingly, the teaser did not reveal an official title. Instead, it concluded with the message, 'A brand new Honkai game, stay tuned.' The name 'Honkai: Nexus Anima' has been circulating among fans, primarily because it appeared in earlier job listings, trademark filings, and domain registrations. This lends credence to the idea that this might indeed be the final title.

Is It Going to be a Pokémon-Like?

The teaser has sparked comparisons to Pokémon, especially with its emphasis on pet companions and what appears to be trainer-style battles. A notable scene featured a face-off between Kiana and Blade, suggesting that Nexus Anima could focus more on combat and the dynamics between characters and their companions compared to previous Honkai games.

As of now, details such as the release date and the official name remain under wraps. However, the teaser has certainly piqued interest, and fans eagerly await further announcements. In the meantime, keep an eye out for our next update on the pre-registration of the Gothic Vampire RPG, Silver and Blood, on Android.
