RedMagic 9S Pro Hits China, Eyes Global Debut

by Nova Dec 10,2024

Redmagic's new 9S Pro phone is making waves! Initially launched in China, this powerhouse is poised for an international debut on July 16th. What makes it so special? Let's dive in.

This gaming phone packs a punch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, UFS 4.0, and LPDDR5X RAM. It comes in four configurations, offering up to a massive 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

We've reviewed several Redmagic devices before, and a comprehensive review of the 9S Pro is on the horizon. Stay tuned!

Powerhouse Potential, Game Library Limitations?

One potential concern? The 9S Pro's impressive specs might be hampered by the available game library. While Apple devices are attracting newer, high-fidelity titles like Resident Evil 7 and Assassin's Creed Mirage, the 9S Pro will likely focus on existing mobile games such as MiHoYo's catalog and titles like Call of Duty Warzone Mobile. Considering a potential price point at the higher end of £500 (comparable to the 9 Pro), this might not be enough to sway all gamers.
