May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Confirmed

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of new titles for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for May 2025, catering to a wide range of gaming preferences. Announced via a PlayStation.Blog post, the update includes nine new games for Extra tier subscribers and one classic title for Premium members, set to be available starting May 20.

Leading the charge for the Extra tier is "Sand Land," an action RPG that brings the world of Akira Toriyama's manga to life on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include "Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition" and the comprehensive "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy," with an enhanced version specifically announced for the PS5, set to launch on the same day. Developer GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on console will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain whether this applies to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

For PlayStation Plus Premium members, "Battle Engine Aquila" joins the catalog, offering a unique sci-fi action experience on both PS4 and PS5. Players will take control of a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground.
