Since its launch over a month ago, Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has captivated gamers worldwide, and Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the experience with a robust lineup of updates. On May 1, Ubisoft took to Twitter (now X) to share their detailed year 1 post-launch roadmap, brimming with fresh story and gameplay content.
One of the highlights of the roadmap is the introduction of new Story Drops. These are free content additions that promise to enrich the game with new quests, player abilities, allies, world activities, and deeper narratives for beloved characters. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."
In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated for later this year. This expansion takes players to the new region of Awaji Island, accessible post-epilogue of the base game. Fans can look forward to encountering new enemies, acquiring new abilities for both protagonists, and wielding an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
