Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio is Ubisoft Japan’s Most Popular Character

Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the iconic Assassin's Creed protagonist, has been voted the most popular character in Ubisoft Japan's 30th-anniversary celebration! The online poll, running from November 1st, 2024, saw fans voting for their top three favorite characters across all Ubisoft Japan titles.

The results, announced on Ubisoft Japan's official website and X (formerly Twitter), revealed Ezio as the clear winner. To celebrate, Ubisoft Japan has released exclusive Ezio content: a specially illustrated page featuring the character in a new style, and four free digital wallpapers (available for PC and smartphones). A lucky 30 fans will also receive a limited-edition Ezio acrylic stand set, while 10 others will win a massive 180cm Ezio body pillow!

Rounding out the top ten:

  • 1st: Ezio Auditore da Firenze (Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations)
  • 2nd: Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs)
  • 3rd: Edward Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag)
  • 4th: Bayek (Assassin's Creed Origins)
  • 5th: Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (Assassin's Creed)
  • 6th: Wrench (Watch Dogs)
  • 7th: Pagan Min (Far Cry)
  • 8th: Eivor Varinsdottir (Assassin's Creed Valhalla)
  • 9th: Kassandra (Assassin's Creed Odyssey)
  • 10th: Aaron Keener (The Division 2)

In a separate poll for most popular game franchise, Assassin's Creed also claimed the top spot, beating out Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry followed in fourth and fifth place respectively.
