Battlefield Release Window Revealed by EA

Electronic Arts has unveiled the projected launch timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a release before April 2026.

Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's past release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. However, EA remains tight-lipped on precise release dates.

Development is underway at four of EA's in-house studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, providing crucial early feedback to shape the final product. This beta testing phase will allow players to experience key gameplay elements and provide valuable input for refinement.

This announcement also impacts the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS installment is not imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority within EA's development pipeline.
