Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars Reforged for Mobile

Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged will soon be available on mobile devices. StoreRider, the publisher, has opened pre-registrations for this enhanced edition of the classic 90s title on Android. If you enjoy point-and-click adventures, signing up is highly recommended.

First released on PC in September 1996, Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars soon established itself as a genre-defining classic. The Reforged edition, which remains faithful to the original, initially arrived on PC in September 2024.

What’s New in Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged Mobile?

Audio and visuals have been completely remastered in high definition, including 4K support. The iconic, atmospheric score by Barrington Pheloung continues to shine. Certain scenes feel almost like an entirely new game while preserving the original charm.

The storyline remains the same, bringing you back into the shoes of George Stobbart—an inquisitive American tourist unexpectedly pulled into an age-old conspiracy linked to the Knights Templar. He soon joins forces with Nico Collard, an astute French journalist.

From the cozy cafés of Paris to ancient ruins in Syria, from narrow Spanish alleys to eerie crypts in Ireland—the duo travels through a series of stunning locales. The art direction remains visually striking. See for yourself in the video below!

The puzzles are just as engaging and intricate, scattered across various locations like the museum and the sick bay. Often, progress in one area depends on solving something elsewhere.
