Transporting players to the medieval era, The Dark Ages offers a distinct gameplay experience from DOOM: Eternal. The focus shifts from frenetic parkour to a more grounded, heavy-weapons combat style. Players will embody a powerful, tank-like character, utilizing a diverse arsenal to obliterate demons.
Central to this demon-slaying arsenal are a shield and mace. A unique addition is the inclusion of a giant mech, providing a powerful advantage against smaller demonic foes. Furthermore, the campaign will feature dragon riding sequences.
