Letterlike Is a New Word Game That’s Like Balatro But with Scrabble!

Wordsmiths, rejoice! A new roguelike word game, Letterlike, is here, blending the best of Balatro and Scrabble. Prepare for a unique experience where vocabulary meets unpredictable roguelike challenges.

Crafting Words in Letterlike:

Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough offers a fresh set of letters and procedurally generated challenges, leading to countless victories. You begin with a letter pool and must create words to score points and progress through levels. Each level consists of three rounds.

To advance, you must accumulate enough points by forming high-scoring words, similar to Scrabble. However, you only have five attempts (lives) per round, demanding strategic word creation.

Facing an unpromising letter combination? Don't despair! You can discard letters, but this option is limited, so choose wisely. A handy rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to optimize your word creation.

The final round introduces a twist: certain letters become useless, yielding zero points.

Earned points and rewards unlock helpful items to enhance your gameplay. Some buffs are automatic, while others require reaching specific levels. Collected gems unlock powerful upgrades, simplifying future runs.

Ready to Play?

Letterlike offers a simple, minimalist, yet engaging experience. Share your runs (including those cursed letter combinations!) with friends using shared seeds for collaborative frustration (or triumph!).

The game is ad-free with a one-time purchase and playable offline. A free demo is available on the Google Play Store, allowing you to test the waters before committing.
