Kicking off Marvel Rivals Season 1, Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown is a Convoy map designed for the game's payload mode. Players either escort or defend a moving vehicle across the map. This is the third Convoy map in Rivals, joining Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path and Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands. Midtown features a dark, Dracula's Blood Moon-infused version of New York City, incorporating iconic Marvel locations and real-world Midtown Manhattan landmarks like the Baxter Building, Grand Central Terminal, Stark/Avengers Tower, Fisk Tower, Ardmore's Bookstore, and Timely Trend.
Empire of Eternal Night: The Mystical Sanctum Santorum
Doctor Strange's Sanctum Santorum makes its Marvel Rivals debut in Season 1 as a unique map exclusively for Doom Match mode—a free-for-all deathmatch. Top-ranking players earn wins, with the best player crowned MVP. This stunning rendition of the mystical mansion, first introduced in a 1963 comic and famously featured in the MCU, serves as Earth's supernatural defense in the game.
