Microsoft Edge introduces Game Assist, a revolutionary in-game browser designed to enhance your PC gaming experience. This innovative tool addresses the common frustration of needing to alt-tab out of games to access web browsers for guides, walkthroughs, or communication.

Edge Game Assist, a preview version currently in beta testing, offers a seamless in-game browsing experience. It overlays on top of your game, eliminating the need to interrupt gameplay. This "game-aware" browser syncs with your standard Edge browser, ensuring access to your bookmarks, history, and saved login information without requiring additional sign-ins.

A key feature is the game-aware tab page. This intelligently suggests relevant game guides and tips, eliminating manual searches. Users can even pin this tab for constant, real-time access to helpful information. While currently supporting a select group of popular titles including Baldur’s Gate 3, Diablo IV, Fortnite, Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga, League of Legends, Minecraft, Overwatch 2, Roblox, and Valorant, Microsoft plans to expand compatibility significantly.
