PlayStation Plus Summer 2025 Adds Resident Evil, Twisted Metal

PlayStation Plus members have an exciting summer ahead, with a fresh mix of modern hits and beloved classics joining the Extra and Premium catalogs. Get ready to dive into iconic series like Resident Evil and Twisted Metal, among others.

Sony unveiled the latest PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 titles coming to the ever-evolving lineup during the June 2025 State of Play. All featured games are slated to arrive throughout the summer, with several launching day-one on the service.

Leading the pack is Sword of the Sea, an atmospheric adventure from Giant Squid, the creators of Abzu and The Pathless. This visually stunning journey emphasizes fluid, skateboard-style surfing across vibrant alien landscapes, encouraging exploration and discovery. It arrives for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members at no additional cost starting August 19, 2025.

Meanwhile, Remedy Entertainment's FBC: Firebreak offers a new chapter set within the world of Control, arriving for Premium and Extra subscribers on June 17, 2025. Alongside these new experiences from acclaimed developers, the Premium Classics Catalog invites players to revisit groundbreaking retro titles.

New additions to the Classics Catalog include Deus Ex, Twisted Metal 3, Twisted Metal 4, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Myst and Riven will also be added later this month as part of the Days of Play celebration.
