Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions: Statement Issued by TPC

The Pokémon Company addresses ongoing shortages of its highly anticipated Scarlet and Violet—Prismatic Evolutions expansion. In a recent statement, the company acknowledged the widespread product scarcity affecting global distribution, including the US. This is the first official acknowledgment of the issue since the expansion's November 2024 announcement and pre-orders.

The statement assures fans that reprints are currently in production and will soon be distributed to licensed retailers. While the company attributed the shortages to "high demand," it refrained from commenting on speculation regarding scalping. They emphasized their commitment to resolving the situation swiftly and printing additional products at maximum capacity.

Beyond the reprints, the Pokémon Company confirmed the upcoming release of additional Prismatic Evolutions products. These include a Mini Tin and Surprise Box (February 7th), a Booster Bundle and Accessory Pouch Special Collection (March 7th and April 25th respectively), a Super-Premium Collection (May 16th), and a Premium Figure Collection (September 26th). Players can also acquire cards from the set early via the Pokémon TCG Live mobile game's Battle Pass, starting January 16th. The company expressed gratitude for fans' patience.
