Pokemon Go will soon kick off Mega Gallade Raid Day in time for the new year

by Alexander Jan 21,2025

Get ready for some Pokémon Go action! Mega Gallade makes its Mega Raid debut on January 11th, coinciding with the next Raid Day. There's a chance to snag a Shiny Gallade – if you're lucky!

The holiday season is hectic, but there's still time for Pokémon hunting. This Raid Day offers exciting bonuses, including increased Remote Raid Pass limits (five extra free passes from Gym Photo Discs from January 10th to 11th) and boosted Shiny Gallade encounter rates in Mega Raids.

For an extra advantage, consider the $5 Event Ticket. It unlocks eight additional Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, a higher chance of Rare Candy XL from Raids, a 50% XP bonus, and double Stardust from Raids.

ytA Mega Gallade Raid Day Ultra Ticket Box will also be available for purchase in the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99 (or local equivalent).

Ready to participate? Download Pokémon Go from the App Store or Google Play (free-to-play with in-app purchases). Join the official Facebook community for updates, check the official website for details, or watch the video above for a sneak peek.
