Get ready for history in the making! The first-ever Tesla gaming tournament featuring the mobile 4X strategy game, The Battle of Polytopia, is set to electrify the esports scene. This unique competition will take place at OWN Valencia, a digital entertainment tournament in Spain, pitting two Tesla owners against each other.
The choice of game isn't entirely surprising. Tesla CEO Elon Musk is a known fan of The Battle of Polytopia, and the game's popularity among Tesla owners adds a unique twist to this already unusual esports event.
Hosted by Spanish gaming personalities Revol Aimar and BaleGG, the match will unfold on the Teslas' in-car touchscreens, showcasing the impressive range of games available on the vehicle's entertainment system.
While this may not signal a widespread shift to in-car esports, it's certainly a captivating event. The close-knit community of Tesla owners, often exhibiting a passion reminiscent of classic car enthusiasts, makes this tournament all the more intriguing.
We wish the competitors good luck and remind them to ensure their vehicles are fully charged before the competition begins!
