A 2026 Release

Saros, a Returnal Spiritual Successor, is Coming 2026

Housemarque unveiled Saros during February 2025's State of Play presentation. This new game, slated for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro sometime in 2026, builds upon and expands the thrilling gameplay established in their acclaimed title, Returnal. Starring Hollywood actor Rahul Kohli as Arjun Devraj, Saros promises a captivating narrative experience.

Come Back Stronger

Saros, a Returnal Spiritual Successor, is Coming 2026

According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand alone and establish a distinct new IP. While iterating on Returnal's compelling storytelling and mechanics, Saros introduces a system of permanent and evolving loadouts—weapons and suits—empowering players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges. Unlike Returnal's ever-shifting roguelike biomes, Saros will offer a more persistent progression system.

Further gameplay details will be revealed later in 2025.
