Top Jedi Survivors of Order 66 Ranked

This month marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, the concluding chapter in the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. Released on May 19, 2005, it was the last Star Wars film directed by George Lucas before he sold Lucasfilm to Disney seven years later.

Fans were well aware that Revenge of the Sith would depict Anakin Skywalker's transformation into Darth Vader, embracing the Dark Side of the Force. A significant plot point was the fate of the other Jedi, resolved through Order 66. This was a sinister maneuver orchestrated by Palpatine, compelling Clone Troopers to turn against and eliminate the Jedi they had fought alongside during the Clone Wars. Given the thousands of Jedi in service, it was plausible that some would evade Palpatine's deadly trap—beyond just those known to survive into the Original Trilogy.

Among the dozens of Order 66 survivors introduced in canon Star Wars narratives, we've compiled a list ranking the top 10 who have left a notable mark. Some of these survivors outlived the immediate aftermath by mere moments, while others endured much longer, with the fate of a few still shrouded in mystery. What unites them is their ability to live and fight another day following Palpatine's chilling command to "Execute Order 66."

To qualify for this list, characters must have been part of the Jedi Order before Order 66, ranging from Padawan to Jedi Master, or even young Jedi Initiates. Therefore, we exclude Force-users like Maul and his former Master, Palpatine, as well as young Force wielders such as Jod Na Nawood who were never officially part of the Jedi Order or trained at the Jedi Temple.

There was some debate about including Asajj Ventress, who was trained by Jedi Master Ky Narec on Rattatak and referred to as his Padawan. However, Ventress never visited Coruscant or met the Jedi Council, and her subsequent alignment with the Dark Side as Dooku's apprentice complicates her status. Thus, she is considered an honorable mention.
