UniqKiller: A Customizable Top-Down Shooter Heading to Mobile and PC

Spotted at Gamescom Latam, UniqKiller is a top-down shooter from Sao Paulo-based HypeJoe Games, making waves with its focus on extensive character customization. The game boasts a prominent presence at the event, with a busy booth and widely seen HypeJoe branded merchandise.

A Uniq using a flamethrower

HypeJoe aims to differentiate UniqKiller in a crowded shooter market through its unique isometric perspective and deep customization options. While the top-down view is a departure from the norm, the real draw is the ability to create and personalize your "Uniq" character. Customization extends beyond aesthetics; players unlock new skills and combat styles through gameplay, allowing for diverse playstyles.

The multiplayer aspect includes clans, clan wars, special events, and missions. HypeJoe emphasizes fair matchmaking, ensuring players face opponents of similar skill levels.

UniqKiller mobile gameplay

UniqKiller is slated for release on mobile and PC, with a closed beta scheduled for November 2024. Keep an eye on Pocket Gamer for further updates and an upcoming interview with HypeJoe Games.
