Zenless Zone Zero: S-Rank Rerun Banners Confirmed for Version 1.5

Zenless Zone Zero enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as the game introduces the long-awaited rerun banners for S-Rank agents in Version 1.5, starting with fan favorites Ellen Joe and Qingyi. Characters are the heart of HoYoverse's acclaimed titles, and their limited availability has always been a strategic move to encourage players to engage actively with the game, either by spending currency or in-game resources to unlock these coveted agents.

While HoYoverse's other major titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, have regularly featured rerun banners, Zenless Zone Zero has, until now, focused exclusively on introducing new agents with each update. The community had hoped that the eagerly awaited Version 1.4 would introduce these reruns, mirroring Genshin Impact's model, but those hopes were not realized. Now, with the confirmation of reruns in Version 1.5, players who missed out on previous opportunities or those who have recently joined the game can look forward to trying their luck at pulling these characters.

The rollout of Version 1.5 will be structured into two phases, with the first phase kicking off on January 22, featuring the new Ether agent Astra Yao and a special rerun banner for Ellen Joe, who debuted in Version 1.1. This update will also include Ellen's Agent Story, enriching the game's narrative. Following on February 12, Phase 2 will introduce Evelyn Chevalier and bring back the PubSec Agent Qingyi, who was last seen in the latter part of Version 1.1. Notably, both reruns will include their specific W-Engines, ensuring players can fully equip these characters with their signature gear.

In addition to the agent reruns, the Version 1.5 special program dispelled a recent rumor by confirming the introduction of three new character outfits: "Chandelier" for Astra, "On Campus" for Ellen, and "Cunning Cutie" for Nicole. Excitingly, Nicole's "Cunning Cutie" outfit will be available for free as a reward during the Day of Brilliant Wishes limited-time event, adding an extra layer of excitement for players.
