Possible DOOM: The Dark Ages release date leaked

by Ryan Mar 22,2025

The upcoming Developer_Direct presentation, just two days away, seems to have suffered a leak. A major French gaming site, Gamekult, prematurely published an article revealing a May 15th release date for the highly anticipated DOOM: The Dark Ages. While the article was swiftly removed, its presence in the site's RSS feed alerted many.

This leak corroborates previous reports from insider NateTheHate, who also indicated a May release for DOOM: The Dark Ages. Two independent sources now point to a similar launch window.

Microsoft is expected to officially unveil DOOM: The Dark Ages this Thursday during their Developer_Direct showcase. This prequel to the modern DOOM duology promises a medieval setting while retaining the series' signature brutal, hellish action.
