Fortnite Chapter 6 has arrived, bringing a new map, Oni Masks, Typhoon Blades, and challenging bosses. The season continues to unveil exciting new content, including unique items like the Lock On Pistol. Winterfest has concluded, and with it, the return of some unvaulted Chapter 4 items. While the Kinetic Blade is attracting attention, the Lock On Pistol offers a unique advantage for players seeking pinpoint accuracy.

How To Get The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol, a Rare-rarity weapon, can be found as floor loot or inside chests. While not overly difficult to find, its rarity means diligent looting of chests is recommended. Fishing at Fishing Spots with a Fishing Rod also offers a decent chance of acquiring this weapon, as Rare weapons have an increased drop rate from these locations.

How To Use The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol is a semi-automatic weapon dealing 25 damage per hit. Its unique feature is its lock-on capability. While aiming down sights, a circle appears around the reticle. Any target within this circle will be automatically hit, regardless of whether they are gliding, in bushes, or otherwise (provided they are not behind cover). This lock-on function has a 50-meter effective range. Hip-firing is also possible, though this negates the lock-on feature.
