New Monster Outbreaks Feature Tested in Monster Hunter Now

In the world of Monster Hunter Now, Niantic is rolling out an exciting new feature test called Monster Outbreaks. This testing phase is designed to gather player feedback and fine-tune the feature before its official launch. Are you ready to join the hunt and see what this is all about?

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

The Monster Outbreaks testing will take place from April 26th to April 27th, running for a couple of hours each day. You can dive into the action twice daily, on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time.

During these times, specific outbreak points on the map will suddenly swarm with 8-star Black Diablos. Your mission? Team up with other players to take down a whopping 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak location within that one-hour window. Remember, this count is per outbreak point, not globally across all players!

To participate, you need to be at least HR 11. Note that you can’t use the party feature for this event; only in-person group hunts will count. Outbreak points are marked with a special icon on the map. Simply tap on it to view the details and sign up on the roster to let others know when you'll be joining the fray.

Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!

The challenge is intriguing: if you and three other hunters take down one Black Diablos, it counts as four towards the 100 needed. If your group hits the 100 mark before time runs out, you can keep hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the hour.

There are fantastic rewards waiting for those who succeed. If your group reaches the 100-monster goal, you'll earn 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Plus, if you use the sign-up roster, you'll be eligible for the exclusive Outbreak Test I Medal.

Interested in joining the hunt? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and gear up for the Monster Outbreaks testing this weekend.
