Neverness to Everness Closed Beta Commences in China

by Penelope Dec 11,2024

Hotta Studio's highly anticipated 3D open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, is gearing up for its inaugural closed beta test. Unfortunately, participation is currently limited to mainland China. However, enthusiastic fans worldwide can still anticipate the game's imminent release by following its progress.

Gematsu recently highlighted new lore details, offering a glimpse into the game's narrative. The revealed information aligns with previously released trailers showcasing the city of Eibon, adding depth to the unique blend of bizarre and ordinary elements within the Hetherau setting. The game's slightly comedic tone is also further emphasized.

Hotta Studios, a subsidiary of Perfect World (creators of the successful Tower of Fantasy), brings its expertise to Neverness to Everness. While adhering to the popular 3D open-world RPG formula with a modern urban feel, the game introduces distinctive features.

yt A Unique Driving Experience

One standout feature is the open-world driving mechanic. Players can experience the thrill of high-speed city driving, customizing and purchasing a variety of vehicles. However, realism extends to the consequences of crashes, adding a layer of challenge.

Upon release, Neverness to Everness will face strong competition from titles like MiHoYo's Zenless Zone Zero and NetEase's Ananta (formerly Project Mugen), both established players in the 3D open-world mobile RPG market.
