Recent leaks suggest the return of a formidable foe in Helldivers 2: the Impaler. This behemoth, a staple from the original Helldivers, is reportedly added to the game's expanding enemy roster. Helldivers 2 already boasts a diverse range of enemies from the Terminid and Automaton factions, each with unique abilities and challenging attributes. Players must overcome these forces to liberate planets and defend Super Earth.

The core gameplay loop of Helldivers 2 remains focused on spreading Managed Democracy across the galaxy.
