Silksong Still Releasing on Original Switch As Previously Planned

Fans of Hollow Knight: Silksong can breathe a sigh of relief as developer Team Cherry confirms that the game will still be released for the original Nintendo Switch, alongside the upcoming Switch 2. Concerns arose after the game's brief appearance during the Nintendo Direct for Switch 2 on April 2, leading many to believe that Silksong might skip the current-gen console. Originally announced in 2019 for PC and the first Switch, the game's scope expanded to include PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well.

While there's no word yet on how the versions for each console will differ, players can anticipate that Silksong will benefit from the enhanced capabilities of the Switch 2, potentially offering a higher resolution and smoother gameplay.
