Fans of Hollow Knight: Silksong can breathe a sigh of relief as developer Team Cherry confirms that the game will still be released for the original Nintendo Switch, alongside the upcoming Switch 2. Concerns arose after the game's brief appearance during the Nintendo Direct for Switch 2 on April 2, leading many to believe that Silksong might skip the current-gen console. Team Cherry's Marketing and PR Handler, Matthew Griffin, took to Twitter (X) on April 8 to address fans' worries about the game's platform availability. Griffin clearly stated that Silksong is set to release on both the original Switch and the Switch 2.
