Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System: Does it Carry Over Between Banners?

In Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, a free-to-play tactical RPG from Sunborn available on PC and mobile, the gacha system plays a significant role. A common question among players revolves around the pity counter and whether its progress carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Your accumulated pity and pulls from one limited-time banner will transfer to the next. During the global launch, for instance, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners shared a pity counter. Progress on one banner directly contributed to the other. This means if you were close to pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to Ullrid and have a 50/50 chance of immediately acquiring Ullrid. This shared pity system will continue with future limited-time banners, as confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. The pity counter will persist even after a limited banner ends, carrying over to the subsequent limited banner.

However, it's crucial to understand that this pity system does not extend to standard banners. Progress on standard banners will not influence your pity on limited banners, and vice versa.

The game features both soft and hard pity. While the hard pity is reached at 80 pulls, the soft pity begins at 58 pulls, gradually increasing your chances of obtaining an SSR unit until hard pity is triggered.

To summarize: Pity carries over between consecutive limited banners in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, but not between limited and standard banners. Remember that soft pity starts at 58 pulls, and hard pity is at 80.
