Application Description

War of Empire Conquest (WOE) is an engaging real-time strategy (RTS) mobile game that thrives on competitive player versus player (PvP) action. In WOE, one player initiates a match, inviting others to join and engage in fierce battles. The game offers a high degree of control over all types of units and buildings, empowering players with strategic freedom.

Main Elements:

WOE transports players back to the medieval ages, simulating 18 powerful Empires, including China, Japan, Persia, Teutonic, Mongolian, Gothic, Maya, and more. Each Empire comes equipped with 8 types of regular units and 1 unique unit, adding diversity to the gameplay. Regular units, such as Swordsmen, Pikemen, Archers, Light Cavalry, and Aries, are consistent across all Empires, while unique units like Mongolia's Riders, Persia's War Elephants, and Spain's Conquistadors offer distinct tactical advantages.

Buildings in the game, such as Towers, Turrets, Castles, and Blacksmith Shops, play crucial roles. For instance, a Tower, when manned by 5 farmers, can unleash a salvo of 6 arrows, while a Turret is specialized for demolishing enemy structures.

Each Empire in WOE boasts its own strengths and weaknesses. For example, the Huns can save time by not needing to construct houses, and their Cavalry is both cheaper and upgradable to Rangers. Meanwhile, Teutonic warriors are formidable but slow-moving, reminiscent of historical Spartan warriors.

Highlights:

The core gameplay revolves around multitasking within a match. Players must simultaneously develop their economy by producing farmers and collecting resources, harass enemy units to gain early advantages, and ultimately destroy enemy forces. Collaboration with allies to form legions is vital, enabling players to defeat numerically superior enemy troops and protect allies' units with low HP but high damage.

Understanding unit counters and fostering teamwork are essential. For instance, Pikemen counter Cavalry, Cavalry counter Archers, Archers counter Pikemen, Slaves (riding camels) counter Cavalry, and Koryo Carriages counter all other ranged units. These dynamics add depth and strategy to every match.

Game Modes:

Resources in WOE are divided into Food and Gold. As players progress, their Town Center (TC) can be upgraded from the dark ages to the feudal, castle, and emperor eras, unlocking advanced technologies, buildings, and units. The game offers various modes, with the most popular being the Normal Mode and the Imperial Deathmatch Mode. In Normal Mode, resources are scarce, requiring players to prioritize development while engaging in early skirmishes. In contrast, Imperial Deathmatch Mode starts players in the emperor era with ample resources, allowing for immediate and intense battles.

Main Features:

Having been refined over 4 years in China, WOE is currently at version 1.8.n, featuring a host of functionalities including Player vs. CPU battles, network play, spectators, replay capabilities, map creation, legion formation, friend lists, and chat systems. These features enhance the game's social and competitive aspects, ensuring a robust and engaging experience for all players.
